Also, creating Felix went a bit wrong, I have no idea how I managed this but couldn’t fix it at all. I’m going to try again tomorrow. Don’t get me wrong Bethesda, I really do love FO76, but you are TESTING my PATIENCE.

I just had the best time in Appalachia, all without a mic, and all with complete strangers.

I randomly came across a lv 90 power armor guy and on a whim thought I’d add them as a friend, when they added me back I went into their server to meet them in a Whitespring nuke blast zone. There must have been 20 other people there, all lvl 80 to lvl140 (!!) all in pristine power armor (apart from one who was naked and just punching things #mood). And then there was me. Lvl 30, in a prototype Hazmat Suit, running around taking pics while all of them mowed down super glowing ghouls, occasionally joining them with my melee club and stimpaks.

It was amazing chaos and so much fun. Anytime I was close to dying I would run through them all calling for help and they would save my ass. One of the guys tried to take a group picture with everyone but only I showed up, lmao. Once one of the PAs got bored and tried to PvP me, but I just gave them the <3 emoji and all the others crowded around me and got him to stop. When I got wiped out finally and we called it a day, my lvl 90 came round to my camp to hang out and it turned out she had been a girl too! (which I have found to be pretty rare). We jammed and hung out in silence.

Just fantastic and completely spontaneous, and everyone was super friendly. Don’t tell me this game wasn’t worth it. My emotional connection to this game is completely different to my connection to FO4 sure, but it’s still strong. So thank you JR, my lvl 90 pal, you’re a babe.
